Fried Cabbage with Bacon, Onion, and Garlic
6 slices bacon
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large head cabbage, cored and sliced
1 tablespoon salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon paprika
Carrots optional
Derictions:
Cook the bacon in a huge skillet over medium hotness until fresh and cooked through.
Eliminate the bacon and put it on paper towels to deplete. Cleave into disintegrates.
Mix garlic and onion into the skillet with the bacon oil and cook, mixing regularly, for 5 minutes, or until delicate
Presently add the cabbage right away and keep cooking for an additional ten minutes, or untill mellowed.
Add the bacon disintegrates on top, ⅓ cup of water depending on the situation to steam the cabbage, salt and pepper to taste, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika.
Mix to join, diminish the fire and cook for one more two or three minutes or until the fluid dissipates, and continue to mix at normal stretches.
Taste and yet again season if necessary. Serve right away. Appreciate.
Note - do get a few carrots in the blend, that simply adds a little a bonus to the dish
